This wearable webcam is an exploration of Internet mediated telepresence. It expands upon the personal webcam phenomenon by allowing viewers from around the planet to be with the wearer as he or she goes about daily existence, even if the wearer leaves the house to go out into the world.

Based on a tablet computer, and with enough battery to last up to two hours, the system uploads a color video image every five minutes using CDPD wireless technology. This particular model was carried by my wife for one year, as she shared her life with viewers on the Net.
