[(toasted drive)]
The hard drive is an icon of our technological time, yet rarely
is it publicly stripped of its protective shielding. To do so, to
reveal the true inner works, would be tantamount to its destruction.
In "Toasted Drive," I have taken an actual hard drive,
and laid bare its insides. The drive failed me, and I have crucified
it upon a cross of steel, melting and burning parts of it as I welded
it into its final resting place.
